Aiming to eliminate human errors, automate workflows, and reduce operational costs, the client sought a robust TMS (Transportation Management System) and an intelligent solution for temperature-sensitive cargo transport.

About the Client:

OmegaLab developed a configurable TMS integrated with a proprietary CRM to streamline logistics processes and ensure efficient transportation. The system includes features for freight operators, drivers, warehouse personnel, accountants, and executives, leading to a significant cost reduction. Additionally, a cold chain logistics solution was developed to safeguard perishable goods through real-time sensor monitoring.

Manual Workflow Bottlenecks & Errors: The client needed to replace manual data handling and route planning with automated processes to minimize errors and improve decision-making.

Automated Order Processing & CRM Integration:

A TMS integrated with CRM software was developed for managing order details (product count, weight, destination), real-time status updates, and optimized delivery scheduling.

Advanced Route Planning:

Implemented a system that calculates the best routes by analyzing factors like destination, traffic conditions, surface types, tolls, and border crossings. This ensures fuel-efficient routes, reduced delays, and cost savings.

Mobile Application for Drivers & Managers

Created a mobile app for real-time tracking, allowing drivers to view their itineraries, offloading points, fuel usage, and necessary transportation documents before departure.

Fleet Maintenance Monitoring & Reporting:

Integrated special sensors to track key vehicle parameters like location, speed, fuel consumption, mileage, and engine status. The TMS also includes automated dashboards for quick report generation, performance analysis, and preventive maintenance.

Digital Documentation Management:

Developed a documentation feature for storing transport records, generating templates, and importing data from other systems. A tracking system was implemented to ensure all documents are formatted correctly.

Intelligent Cold Chain Management:

Designed a smart sensor system to monitor and maintain the temperature of perishable goods during transport. The solution uses a sensor network, a tracker, and a Peltier element to regulate temperature, ensuring product safety from origin to destination.
