Beauty Booking is a Mexican company that developed a digital platform for booking beauty and wellness services online, allowing users to schedule appointments at various beauty studios and cosmetic clinics throughout the country. The marketplace connects a wide range of service providers, including beauty salons, fitness centers, wellness complexes, spas, sports studios, and aesthetic medicine and dental clinics.
About the Client:
Since the beauty and wellness e-commerce market is underdeveloped in Mexico, the company sought to create a new IT platform that would offer users a convenient service for selecting beauty and wellness establishments and booking appointments. This would help potential clients explore the range of available services, view professionals, check prices, and easily book procedures or consultations.
About the Project:
The company needed to develop a marketplace from scratch that would feature various categories of salons and clinics, including health, fitness, beauty, spa, and medical services. Each category had to display a list of establishments, the services they offered, pricing, and available time slots, allowing consumers to easily book appointments and make payments.

The project required the following:
  • Develop two separate dashboards: one for salon owners/managers and another for customers.
  • Create a service catalog with descriptions, images, and the time required for each procedure.
  • Set up a notification system for customers and appointment confirmations for salons.
  • Integrate email newsletters and SMS notifications to remind clients of appointments and collect feedback after services are rendered.
  • Launch referral programs to attract more clients.
  • Integrate PayPal for payment processing.

Admin Dashboard for Salon Owners and Managers:
  • Developed a user-friendly interface allowing owners and managers to manage services, adjust staff schedules, and view client lists.
  • With client profiles, beauty professionals can access information about past procedures, review notes, and schedule follow-up appointments quickly.

Customer Dashboard:
  • Created a seamless user interface with easy navigation and a functional menu, allowing clients to explore services, view prices, select a preferred provider, and book appointments conveniently.
  • Customer reviews and recommendations help users choose the best salons, view order history, and manage their profile.

Feature Set:
  • Integrated features for managing reviews, reports, order histories, subscriptions, and synchronized calendars.
  • Developed medical form questionnaires, automated email and SMS campaigns, and client database export/import functionality.

Notifications and Reminders:
Implemented a system that notifies customers of upcoming appointments and confirms bookings for salons, improving scheduling efficiency for professionals and making the experience more convenient for clients.

Upon project completion, the company launched a new e-commerce service that allowed beauty salons and medical establishments to enhance brand recognition, reduce marketing costs by 25%, and automate routine tasks, reducing the workload on salon managers. The service also provided 24/7 administrative capabilities, from managing individual staff schedules to setting new prices and promotions.
